The inverted bucket shape of the bin which has fluted sides for maximum distribution of the sun's rays, has been specially designed to mould a self supporting "cake". Once your rubbish has been converted into compost simply lift the bin off and start another batch.
The well fitting lid, clips in place and restricts flies from entering and breeding in the compost bin. Odourless and hygienic, it can be sited close to the kitchen for convenient disposal of your organic waste.
During the conversion of organic waste to humus, concentrated bacteria are produced. The bin self generates heat up to 70 degrees centigrade to break down the waste material as it is added.
The bin is made of High Density Polyethylene and is designed to withstand the high temperatures produced during decomposition.
